Tour, Classes

Machon L'Torah will offer a
summer learning tour of
Israel. In addition to tours,
the program will include a
Jewish study program on
Jewish history, law, Talmud,
Bible, and an ulpan for
Hebrew study.
The tour will be led by Rab-
bi Avraham Jacobovitz and
will be co-sponsored with the
Jewish Learning Exchange of
New York.
College students or young
professionals between the
ages of 18-26 are qualified to
join. Thn limited scholarships
are available. The total cost
per student is $1,800; with a
scholarship it will be $399.

A semester of Machon's
evening yeshiva program will
begin April 28. The program
is designed for motivated in-
dividuals who wish to further
their understanding and lear-
ning skills of Jewish study.
The study groups gather on
Monday through Thurday
evenings' at the Machon
L'Torah Learning Center,
15221 W Ten Mile Road.
Yeshiva-Light will add to its
curriculum a Talmud class
led by Rabbi Shmuel Zimmer-
man, an advanced Halachah
class by Rabbi Jacobovitz, and
a beginner's Talmud class.
