a Patron Event 7:30 p.m.
April 29 at the home of Nan-
cy and Robert Schostak with
speaker Raymond Tanter. Dr.
Tanter, who is professor of
political science at the
University of Michigan
specializing in the Arab-
Israeli conflict, is a former
staff member of the U.S. Na-
tional Security Council.
Patron chairmen are Jeff
Garden and Sue Kaufman.
Mr. Garden is a board mem-
ber of Hillel Day School and
participant in the Young
Leadership Cabinet of the
Allied Jewish Campaign.
Mrs. Kaufman is a board
member of Hillel, PTO vice
president of education at
Hillel and a member of Adat
Shalom Synagogue.

Workmen's Circle
Plans Events
A dinner to benefit the
Workmen's Circle Sunday
school and nursery school will
be held 5 p.m. April 12 at the
Workmen's Circle Educa-
tional Center, 26341
Coolidge, in Oak Park.
Following dinner there will
be a talk about national
health care; Jack Hurwitz
will speak.
The Workmen's Circle will
hold its annual Third Seder
noon April 19. This Pesach
celebration will include a
secular/cultural Haggadah.

Set Support Group
The Jewish Community
Center in cooperation with
Sinai Hospital will offer a
Bereavement Support Group
beginning 1 p.m. May 6 in
Room 321 of the Maple-Drake
building.
This group will run for four
consecutive weeks and will be
facilitated by social workers
Ilene Burk and Joanne Zuss-
man of Sinai Hospital. This
group is open to the com-
munity at no charge.
