CCFA BENEFIT
The Michigan Chapter
Chron's and Colitis Founda-
tion of America presented a
spring fashion show from
Saks Fifth Avenue and a
silent auction at the Ritz
Carlton on April 2 with 320
patrons. President Carol
Roberts was thrilled with
the turnout and the wonder-
ful auction items, including
round-trip airfare for two to
Amsterdam provided by
KLM Royal Dutch Airlines.

Eileen Young, Diane

BBYO REUNION

The Michigan BBYO reu-
nion took place on April 4 at
Cong. Shaarey Zedek with
more than 300 alumni from
across the United States.
The evening featured
memorabilia from the 1940s
through the '80s and was co-
ordinated by: Allan Feuer,

Chuck Kessler, Ben Wax-
enberg, Marla Parker,
Bruce Gorosh and Ruth
Grey. The last three direc-
tors of the Michigan BBYO
program, Earl Yaillen of
Columbus, Ohio; Manny
Mandel of Silver Spring,
Md.; and current director
Arnie Weiner attended the
reunion. The event marked
the inception of the new
Michigan BBYO Alumni
Association, an organization
of former members and
friends, that will be involved
