This year, Variety Club will honor Danny Raskin, writer for The Jewish News, who will receive the Humanita- rian Award. Danny Raskin has been a columnist for over 50 years. He belongs to many charitable organizations and has won awards for his giving nature. As a 32nd degree Mason, he volunteers at the Shrine Circus every year. Henry Baskin will be the emcee of the evening. Another highlight will be Linda Solomon's "Focus on the Famous" celebrity por- traits exhibition. A cash bar will be available.
