When one child goes to bed hungry, each of us
shares the pain. That is what it is to be a Jew.
When a man loses his home because there is no
work, each of us shares in his despair. That, too, is
what it is to be a Jew.
The Jewish Family Service reports that hunger and
homelessness are a new reality for many of our
people. To help them over the hard times is one of
the reasons why that agency — and other agencies in
our Jewish Federation family — exists.
And it is why our community created an Allied
Jewish Campaign to support them -- here, in Israel
and around the world.
If you need help, our agencies are here for you.*
If you want to give help, please support the 1992
Campaign.
For that's what it is to be a Jew.
