She is survived by her

RUTH CHASNICK, 92,
former Detroiter of Hallan-
dale, Fla., died April 6. She
leaves her son and daughter-
in-law, Irving and Diane of
Southfield; daughter and son-
in-law, Faye and Leo Schoen-
feld of Plano, Texas; four
grandchildren; three great-
grandchildren.

DAVID ENGLER, 67, of
Oak Park, died April 5. He is
survived by his wife, Celia;

Calif., died March 30. She is
survived by her husband,
Carl; sons, Dr. Michael and

Sol; sisters-in-law, Pauline,
Alice Cooperstock.

SYLVIA HOLTZMAN, 82,
of West Bloomfield, died April
6. She is survived by
daughters and sons-in-law,

man of West Bloomfield,

daughter.

grandchildren; nine great-
grandchildren.

BENJAMIN LABE, 59, of
Southfield, died April 3. He is
survived by his wife, Gloria of

and Jill of Marina Del Ray,
Calif., Robert and Mary-Lou
of West Bloomfield; Eric and
Monica of Marina Del Ray;
brother and sister-in-law,

MEYER LEVEY, 80, of
Franklin, died April 4. He is
survived by his daughter and
son-in-law, Fay and Benj Gor-
back of Franklin; son and
daughter-in-law, Dr. Jules
and Kathie of Bath, N.Y.;
sisters and brother-in-law,
Belle Gilbert, Hannah and
Harry Bryant; three grand-
children.

MAX LAMPART, 88, of Oak

Park, died April 5. He is sur-
vived by his wife, Miriam;
daughter, Barbara Kresch of
Oak Park; three grand-
children; 11 great-grand-
children.

ABE MILLMAN, 70, of
Southfield, died April 5. He is
survived by his wife, Rita;
sons and daughters-in-law,
Harry and Sharon of South-
field, Gary and Sandra of Far-
mington Hills, Sheldon of
Farmington Hills; brother,
Morie of Southfield; sister,
Minnie Adler of Southfield;
seven grandchildren.

RUTH NAFT, 84, of South-
field, died April 5. She is sur-
vived by brothers and sisters-
in-law, Harry and Ruth Git-
telson of Cleveland, Ohio,
Albert and Minnie Gittelson
of Los Angeles. Interment
Cleveland.

BERTHA NOVOGRAD, 74,
of Southfield, died April 6.
She is survived by daughters
and son-in-law, Linda of
Southfield, Phyllis and Nor-
man Samsky of Southfield,
Debra of Southfield; brother
and sister-in-law, Philip and
Marion Shlom of Southfield;
sisters and brother-in-law,
Yetta Sallan of Southfield,
Winnie and Bill Borkin of
Southfield; two grand-
children.

KAYE RASHTI, 97, former
Detroiter of Hallandale, Fla.,
died March 26. He is surviv-
ed by his wife, Reba of Hallan-
dale; daughters and sons-in-
law, Phyllis and William Mar-
cus, Joyce and Allen Sosin;
eight grandchildren; nine
great-grandchildren.
