Fashion On
The Move

THIS SPRING THERE ARE MANY

at Crosswinds Mall. Orchard Mall is
the new home for ilona and gallery,
Pollak's Bridal, Sherri's and The
Studio. New stores at Orchard Mall

Birmingham across the street from
their previous location. Lynn
Portnoy is now in Royal Oak.
At the Boardwalk in West Bloom-
field look for the new store Chico's,
a Florida-base manufacturer and
retailer of casual fashions. Cotton
fabrics from Turkey, Central America
and Egypt are featured in separates
priced from $25 to $65.
Hannah Rose, owned by Roz and
Sherm Becker and managed by

Andrea Becker, is the newest
boutique at the Bloomfield Plaza.
Hannah Rose will feature ready-to-
wear fashions at a more moderated
price point compared to the Roz and
Sherm store. Some of the specially
selected designers include Anna Sui,
Feretti Philosophy, Jennifer George By
Night and Betsey Johnson. Also, look
for an extensive jean collection by

Moschino, Katharine Hamnett, Big

Oak. This unconventional boutique
features fashions from Betsey John-
son, Vox Pop and Atomic Age and an
extensive collection of Fleuvog and
English shoes and boots and hosiery
by Mary Quant.
Saks Fifth Avenue Troy has

PURE & SIMPLE

opened a Chanel Boutique. Hudson's
Oval Room at Oakland Mall has
recently remodeled and expanded.

Aromatherapy Now
At Mira Linder

AROMATHERAPY, LONG PRAC-
ticed in Europe is now available at
Mira Linder Spa In The City, in
Applegate Square, Southfield.
Aromatherapy combines the health
benefits of massage with the
thereaputic value of essential oils. The
distilled oils are extracted from herbs
such as rosemary, flowers such as
lavender, and trees like eucalyptus.
Based on an ancient healing art,
today's Aromatherapy at Mira Linder
is helpful in relieving problems such
as stress, fatigue and general
discomfort.
Aromatherapy is also a useful
treatment for pregnant women
because it helps to ease aches and
pains as well as various problems like
nausea, fatigue and nervousness.
The Aromatherapy program is
under the director of Meredith
DeLone.
