If you'd rather take the sexpot route, that, too, is an option. Spring 1992 fashions focus on fan- tasy and fun. Designers here and abroad have tried to satisfy every- one, and the result is a gamut of trends. Some of them are controversial; many require a well-toned, aerobic bocl and/or the willingness to be daringly revealing. Still, even if you don't/won't wear them, you're undoubtedly inter- ested in knowing what they are. This spring, the major trends are (drum- roll, please)... SNAPPY SHORTS: Bermuda shorts with matching tops are a popular alternative to pantsuits. The shorts outfits can be all-business tailored or, like this Escada combination, comfortably casual.
