celebrated Purim with
costumes, cooking and art
activities.
"We all dressed up, had a
carnival and told stories,"
said teacher Debbie Kolb.
"The children adored it."
Student Shira Borzak
just loved her costume,
although she wasn't sure
whether she was Queen
Esther or Cinderella.
Teacher Marcia Mason
helped Shira put on her
lucite glass slippers for the
occasion.

teacher Andy Weiss. Some
of the other students who en-
joyed the Purim festivities
included: Ilana Borzak,
Jennifer Brams, Lori
Cowen, Densie Cykiert,
student Miriam Lewis.
Here are some of the unique
messages: To Molly Harris:
"This play may be
Oklahoma!, but to us it's A
Star is Born. Shine on, sweet
girl!" To Jordan Leff:
"You 'shine' from the inside
out. You make us always
feel proud and happy. May
your life be a series of
`opening nights'." To the
students from coordinator
Susan Zaks: "Oh, what a
beautiful evening; oh, what
a beautiful night. Be proud
of the job you have done
here; the show was such a
delight."
