Chaim to the Jewish News from Temple Shir Shalom for fifty years of service to the Jewish Community.

As one of the youngest members of that community,
we'd like to assure this fifty-year old that we'll be
making Jewish news together into the 21st Century
and beyond.

Very soon we'll make Jewish news by being
comfortably housed in our new building on the
corner of Walnut Lake and Orchard Lake Roads.
Just like we've made Jewish news by being one of
the fastest-growing congregations in the country,
Temple Shir Shalom is destined to make news. By
combining the spirituality of the centuries with the
practicality of the present, we've already grown
from 30 to 600 families in just three years. We did it
by realizing that the only way to succeed is by
making people feel at home.

From our Tot Shabbat service and brunches on
Saturdays (for our 2-to-7-year-olds, their parents
and grandparents)...our Prime Timers programs
(for members over 68)...our Family Shabbat
dinners and services each month...to once-a-week
Hebrew School with our promise that every child
can have his or her own single Bar/Bat
Mitzvah...we make each and every one of our
members an integral part of our family.

As this particular family heads into our new home,
we look forward to making much more Jewish news
in our future.

For membership information, please call Bunni Lieberman or Rabbi Dannel Schwartz at 737-8700.
