JNF is celebrating its
90th anniversary

LOOK AT THE JNF OF TODAY!

For 90 years, the Jewish National Fund has been there to
prepare Israel's land for each major wave of aliyah. Now,
through the Operation Promised Land campaign, JNF is
developing the terrain for housing, recreation, agriculture
and industry to meet the needs of the Russian Jewish olim.
JNF is also building water conservation facilities and
expanding Israel's system of roads.

A Russian Jewish family, newly arrived in Israel, enjoys a picnic in a JNF
recreational site. JNF is developing recreational and tourist facilities to boost
local economies and prepare the areas for Israel's newest citizens.

for housing newly-arrived Russian Jews. In view of the anticipated arrival of a
million or more immigrants in the coming years, JNF is developing the terrain for
thousands of sites.

JNF is blazing new roads in the Galilee and Negev regions to ensure efficient
communications links from outlying villages to major population centers, schools
and hospitals. Such arteries are necessary for attracting new residents,
including Russian immigrants, as well as for increasing the security of frontier
areas and developing their economies.

water shortage, JNF is establishing dams and reservoirs throughout the country.
Water preservation facilities are also needed due to the addition of thousands
of new consumers brought about by the current aliyah.
