Sisterhood Vote
Temple Israel Sisterhood
will hold their annual elec-
tion meeting noon April 6 at
the temple. The meeting will
include luncheon and a
fashion show, featuring
Hersh's, Valentina's and
Tressa's Boutique, modeled by
members of the sisterhood.
Hair and makeup will be styl-
ed by D'Alleva.

gregation Shaarey Zedek will
mark its 12th annual
Sisterhood Sabbath 8:45 a.m.
April 11. This service will
honor the Sisterhood of B'nai
Israel Center and also

sisterhood service to the
synagogue and the
community.
Faye Ullman, sisterhood
president, will address the
congregation. Torah readers
will include: Debbie Balkin,
Marcia Boxman, Raquel Ger-
shon, Paula Glazier, Miriam
Goldberg, Ruthe Goldstein,
Gail Tukel, Anita Naftaly,
Rusty Rosman and Bonnie
Topper. Maftir will be chanted
by Rusty Rosman and the
Haftorah will be chanted by
Judith Blumeno.

Passover Cooking
The Temple Emanu-El Out-
reach Committee, in conjunc-
tion with the Thmple Emanu-
El Sisterhood, will present
"Setting Up the Seder," 7 p.m.
April 1 at the temple.
The first portion of the pro-
gram will explore the Hag-
gadah. Then, Chef Elwin
Greenwald, Elwin's Tu Go in
Royal Oak, will demonstrate
dishes prepared for Pesach,
all of which will be available
for sampling. Recipes for the
seder will be available.
