Machon L'Torah, the Jewish
Learning Network of
Michigan, will hold its fifth
annual retreat March 27-29
at the Hilton Garden Inn in
Southfield.
The retreat will feature
educator-author Rabbi David
Gottlieb. Rabbi Gottlieb is the
author of The Informed Soul,
formerly a professor of ana-
lytical philosophy at Johns
Hopkins University, now ser-
ving as a senior lecturer at
the Tanenbaum College/Ohr
Somayach, Jerusalem, Israel.
The program also will offer
a set of lectures and discus-
sions on the verification of the
truth of the Torah led by Rab-
bi Mordechai Neugroschel,
dean of Torah V'Emunah In-
stitute. Rabbi Neugroschel is
expert in biblical analysis
and Jewish philosophy.
Rabbi Avraham Jacobovitz
will direct the program and
will lead some of the work-
shops. Accommodations and
babysitting for children are
available.
