Prime Minister Constantine

ficial visit to Israel shortly,
the first-ever by a Greek
head of government.
The Israeli Embassy con-
firmed the planned trip but
declined to give a date.
Sources close to the Greek
Foreign Ministry said Mit-
sotakis would visit Israel in
early April. He visited once
before, in October 1988, as
leader of the opposition,
before his conservative party
took power.
Mitsotakis established full
diplomatic relations with
Israel after 40 years in

Mitsotakis' trip will be
preceded by a visit from the
Greek health minister.
