The Center for Peace and
Conflict Studies and the
Detroit Council for World Af-
fairs, Wayne State University,
will host "Lunch with the
Ambassador" noon-1:30 p.m.
April 7 at the McGregor
Memorial Conference Center,
Wayne State University.
The speaker will be Robert
Dillon, former U.S. Am-
bassador to Lebanon
(1981-83) and president of
American-Mideast Educa-
tional and Training Services,
Inc. Ambassador Dillon is a
career senior foreign service
officer who served in
Lebanon.

Alann Steen, journalism
professor at Albion College
and former hostage in

Readers Theater
Opens Season

Readers Theater will open
its 1992 spring series 3:30
p.m. March 15 at the Aaron
DeRoy Theater of the Maple-
Drake Jewish Community
Center.
This performance will be
hosted by Rudy Simons and
will feature Shirley Benyas,
Thom Galasso, Karen Moore
and Paul Winter interpreting
stories by Esther Singer
Krietman, Lev Raphael, Faye
Moskowitz and Alvin S. Roth.
The performance will be
preceded at 3 p.m. by a com-
plimentary wine bar. There is
an admission charge.
