Fact is, more Americans
may die by the fork than by
any other weapon. That's
because so many of them
use it irresponsibly. Like
to fill up on high-fat, high-
cholesterol foods. Foods
that can load the blood with
cholesterol, which can build
up plaque in their arteries,
increasing their risk of
heart attacks and threaten-
ing their lives. So next time
you pick up a fork, remem-
ber to handle it as you
would any other weapon.
For self-defense, not
self-destruction.

he Sally Alexander
Bais Yaakov High
School presented the
musical production of
Chazak V'Ernatz, which
means "Be Strong and Cou-
rageous," on March 4 at
Southfield-Lathrup High
School auditorium. The per-
formance featured the school
choir, band, drama and
dance groups. "This is an
original production," said
Rabbi Samuel E. Cohen.
The students wrote the
plot, choreographed the
dances and wrote most of the
musical scores in the play
that revolves around a
young girl finding strength
through letters in the attic
that inform her of her Jew-
ish heritage. The scenes
span the ages from the
Spanish Inquisition, World
War II Hungary and the
future.
Some of the cast members
included: Ricki Kohn,
Michelle Barr, Tziril Gar-
din, Aliza Kuperman,
Leah Berman, Shani
Greenfield, Sara Aliza

The girls thanked many
individuals, especially
Rabbi Samuel E. Cohen,
Rebbetzin E. Bakst and
Mrs. Rochel Leah
Groundland, "who have
totally, selflessly, given of
themselves the past few
months making this produc-
tion into a reality."

mington Hills, a professor of
teacher education at Wayne
State University, recently
lunched with First Lady
