Bernstein Tribute
At Shaarey Zedek
A tribute to Leonard Bern-
stein will be presented 7:30
p.m. March 10 as this year's
program in celebration of
Jewish Music Month at Con-
gregation Shaarey Zedek.
Members of the Michigan
Opera Theatre will present
highlights from Mr. Berns-
tein's musicals: West Side
Story, Trouble in Tahiti, Can-
dide and On The Town.
The performers will be
Maria Cimarelli, soprano;
Barbara Youngerman, mezzo
soprano; Karl Schmidt, tenor;
and Mark Vondrak, baritone.
They will be joined by actress
Christine Jones, accompanied
by Roger L. Bingaman,
musical director.
The concert will be made
possible by a grant from the
Miriam and the late Samuel
Hamburger Endowment for
Sacred Music. Admission is
free and open to the public.

To Give Recitals
The Maple-Drake Jewish
