Julie Michelle Moss and
Anthony Adam Emmer were
married recently at Temple
Israel in West Bloomfield.
Rabbi Harold Loss and Can-
tor Harold Orbach officiated.
Julie is the daughter of Mr.
and Mrs. Jerome Moss of Far-
mington Hills. Anthony is the
son of Mr. and Mrs. Howard
Emmer of West Bloomfield.
Rene Tukel was the matron
of honor. Bridesmaids includ-
ed Erica Emmer, sister of the
groom, and Lori Lieberman.
Eric Kingston was the best
man. Groomsmen included

Dr. Steven Moss and Marc
Moss, brothers of the bride,
Dr. Stuart Baroff, Dan Gold-
berg, Aaron Kirsch, Phil Ar-
bit and Mike Heimlicher.
Also participating in the
ceremony were the bride's
grandparents, Mr. and Mrs.
Jack Moss and Mr. Carl
Moskovitz; the groom's grand-
parents, Mrs. Esther Sher-
man, and her husband Irwin
Sherman.
The couple honeymooned in
Aruba and now reside in West
Bloomfield.

Bloomfield was named direc-
tor of the Eleonore Hutzel
Recovery Center at Hutzel
Hospital. Before joining
Hutzel, Ms. Sobel was direc-
tor for the mental health pro-
gram at Detroit Osteopathic
Hospital.

DR. BRUCE KACZANDER

recently spoke at the
American College of Foot
Surgeons Annual Conference
in Orlando, Fla. His topic was
"The Podiatric Application of
Continuous Passive Motion.

Bonstelle Theatre's upcoming
production of William
Shakespeare's The Merchant

of Venice.

MARIAN LITTMAN of Oak

Park has been elected to vice
president of the Michigan
Reading Association.

RANDY KAPLAN has been
elected president-elect of the
Michigan Podiatric Medical
Association. Dr. Kaplan had
served as president of the
MPMA and as president of
the association's
Southeastern Division. Dr.
Kaplan is board certified in
foot and ankle surgery. He is
also a Fellow of the American
College of Foot Surgeons. He
serves on staff and as a
clinical instructor of podiatric
medicine and surgery at Kern
Hospital in Warren, is on staff
at Oakland General Hospital
in Madison Heights and
maintains a private practice
in Detroit.
