Hills; brother, Henry
Goldsmith of Novi; sister,
Hattie Blumenau of Miami;
sisters-in-law, Barbara
Goldsmith and Mary
Goldsmith Trager; and three
grandchildren.

FRANK N. SELMAN, 76, of
Oak Park, died Feb. 14. Sur-
vived by his wife, Anne; sons
and daughters-in-law, Earl
and Pam of Irvine, Calif., Jer-
rold and Terry of Southfield,
and Stewarz and Marge of
Birmingham; sister and
brother-in-law, Mildred and
Seymour Rabinowitz of
Southfield; and five
grandchildren.

Temple Israel in Detroit and
a charter member and former
treasurer of Temple Beth-El
in Bradenton, Fla. He was a
member of the speaker's
bureau at the John and
Mabel Ringling Museum of
Art in Ssrasota.
An army veteran of World
War II, he was a former
quartermaster with the
Jewish War Veterans and a
member of the Michigan
Veterans of Foreign Wars.
He is survived by his wife,
Elizabeth; son and daughter-
in-law Judge John H. and
Sandra Shepherd of
Southfield; brothers, Reuben
of Toronto and Ben of Farm-
ington Hills; sisters, Bessie
Shore and Shirley Coleman,
both of Windsor, Ontario; and
two grandsons. Interment
Florida.

JACK B. SIMONS, 73, of
Southfield, died Feb. 5. Sur-
:, vived by his wife, Ida; sons

Meyer Fishman

Meyer M. Fishman, 81, co-
founder and past president of
Star Steel Supply Co., died
Feb. 12 in Palm Beach, Fla.
Mr. Fishman was a former
chairman of the Allied Jewish
Campaign and contributed,
with his late brother Nathan,
Fishman Village at Camp
Maas in Ortonville. He was a
board member of Sinai
Hospital of Detroit and
donated funds to build the
Sophie and Meyer Fishman
Emergency Center at Sinai.
He granted scholarships to
send young people to Israel.
He was a member of Con-
gregation Shaarey Zedek, the
One Hundred Club, Franklin
Hills Country Club, City
Athletic Club of New York
and a board member of
Jewish Home for Aged.
He leaves his wife, Ben-
nette; two sons and a
daughter-in-law, Alvin of
Pompano, Fla., David and
Deena of Birmingham; two
stepdaughters and stepsons-
in-law, Bonnie and Mitchell
Rudin and Judith and War-
ren Feder, both of New York,
brothers Morris and Sidney;
sister, Pauline Berman; five
grandchildren and four
great-grandchildren. Inter-
ment Detroit.
