Fishman, 81, co- founder and past president of Star Steel Supply Co., died Feb. 12 in Palm Beach, Fla. Mr. Fishman was a former chairman of the Allied Jewish Campaign and contributed, with his late brother Nathan, Fishman Village at Camp Maas in Ortonville. He was a board member of Sinai Hospital of Detroit and donated funds to build the Sophie and Meyer Fishman Emergency Center at Sinai. He granted scholarships to send young people to Israel. He was a member of Con- gregation Shaarey Zedek, the One Hundred Club, Franklin Hills Country Club, City Athletic Club of New York and a board member of Jewish Home for Aged.
