SPACEINCJW Plan
Peer Support Groups

SPACE for Changing
Families has peer support
groups for bereaved men and
women that meet for four
weeks 7:15-9:30 p.m. Monday
nights. Pre-registration is re-
quired. For information, call
SPACE, 258-6606. A donation
per session is suggested.
Divorced peer support
group will meet 7:15-9:30 p.m.
March 2, 9, 16, 23, 30. Pre-
registration is required. A
donation per session is
suggested.
Drop-in discussion groups
will meet March 5, 12, 19, 26.
Registration is not required.
A donation per session is
suggested.
Let's Rap, a teen 'support
group for ages 12 to 15 will be
offered 6-7 p.m. Wednesday
nights at the SPACE offices.
Mark Pensler, a teen group
facilitator, teacher and profes-
sional counselor, will conduct
the group. For information,
call SPACE, 258-6606.
Rainbows for All Children
is a support group program
for children who have suf-
fered a significant loss in
their lives, either by death, by
divorce, or other painful
transition.
The purpose of this program
is to provide an opportunity to
meet new friends who have
shared similar experiences.

The next session will meet
March 4 with orientation and
6:30-7:30 p.m. March 11, 18,
25, April 1, 8, 15. Wrap-up
day will be 10 a.m.-4 p.m.
April 26.
All sessions meet at the
SPACE office. There is a sug-
gested fee.

to form chapters.
The affiliate organizations
are the Council of Jewish
Organizations in Civil Ser-
vice (New York), the National
Conference of Shomrim
Societies (Jewish law enforce-
ment employees), and the Na-
tional Jewish Civil Service
Employees, Inc. (Jewish
government, public service
employees in all other
agencies).
The group has been
organized to combat
discrimination of the Jewish
employee and others,
regardless of race, color, creed,
religion or sex.
