WHEN ONLY 4 years old,
Jaimi Tarnow skated in her
first ice show for City of
Southfield . . . Now 18, she is
realizing one of her dreams
and having a wonderful
adventure before going to col-
lege . . . Jaimi is skating with
the Continental Company of

The Billy Rose
Quartet, formerly
at 1940 Chop
House, is now at
Vicki's on Grand
River n.

Ice Capades, traveling around
the United States and
Canada, performing in a new
city each week . . . In a show
that celebrates Ice Capades'
50th anniversary, she appears
in eight numbers including a
masquerade ball, waltz, two
precision numbers and a col-
orful Russian routine . . .
Jaimi is Scooby-Doo in a Han-
na Barbera number, skating
to "Hammertime."
Recently her tour brought
Jaimi close to home as she
performed in Toledo, Jan.
29-Feb. 2 . . . Her family
rented a bus and bought a
block of over 60 tickets for one
of the evening performances,
bringing relatives and friends
to enjoy seeing Jaimi skate.
Her dad, Bob, still plays
hockey in Southfield . . .
John, 23, and his four sisters,
Robyn, 21, Jaimi, 18, Sara, 16
and Tami, 12, all learned to
skate at a very early age .. .
John played hockey and all
five kids have performed in
local ice shows for many years
. . . Robyn has been teaching
figure skating for three years,
presently at the Berkley Ice
Arena.
Bob's wife, Kathy, is a very
proud Mom and spectator.
