"American Masterworks" will feature a classic of the modern dance repertory, Mar- tha Graham's 1948 master- piece Diversion of Angels. This will mark the first time that any Graham work has been performed outside of her company in 15 years. With this signature work, the Dance Company also will present five new works by U- M faculty choreographers. Funded by a grant from the Dayton Hudson Foundation, the Ann Arbor Symphony Or- chestra will make a special appearance, performing a pro- gram of all-American music by Leonard Bernstein, Aaron Copland and the 1989 Pulitzer Prize-winning com- poser, William Bolcom.
