self-management seminars
designed to help managers
adjust to changes required in
business management. At-
tendees will learn how and
why certain aspects of
management style are need-
ed for more effective
management.

6:30-9 p.m. Tuesdays through
May 27 at the Metropolitan
Center for High Technology,

Small Business in Detroit —
Feb. 18, 25, March 3, 10 and
March 17, 6-9 p.m.; this
workshop is a series of com-
prehensive business training
classes conducted in five
parts.

• Exporting — March 31,
9:30 a.m.-noon; learn how to
gain access to these markets
to increase sales.
• Franchising — April 14,
9:30 a.m.-noon; this workshop
will focus on evaluating fran-
chise opportunities.
• Marketing for Small
Business Owners — April 28,
9:30 a.m.-noon; this seminar
will explain the definition of
marketing and what it means
for small businesses.
• Home Based Business —
May 12, 9:30 a.m.-noon; this
seminar will offer valuable
tips on making home
business work.
• BIG E-Z Bookkeeping —
May 27, 9 a.m.-noon; take the
mystery out of bookeeping.
