The AZA Basketball
League will continue 8 a.m.-
2 p.m. Feb. 9 at Oakland Com-
munity College, Orchard
Ridge Campus. Playoffs and
championship game will be
played May 10 at the Jewish
Community Center as part of
the Israel Independence Day
Celebration.
The BBG Council Walley-
ball League will begin 2-5
p.m. Feb. 9 at the Maple-
Drake Jewish Community
Center. The League will con-
tinue for seven weeks. For in-
formation on both AZA
Basketball and BBG Walley-
ball, call BBYO Chapter Ser-
vice Center, 788-0700.
The BBYO/JCC Teen Con-
nection will host a "Sleepover
Bash" 8 p.m. Feb. 8 to 8:15
a.m. Feb. 9 at the Maple-
Drake JCC. The program will
feature volleyball, basketball,
floor hockey, movies, and
creative arts. A snack will be
provided, as well as cereal for
breakfast. Participants are
asked to bring a sleeping bag,
toiletries and a towel. A shut-
tle bus from the JPM Branch
in Oak Park will be available
at a charge with pick up at
7:30 p.m. Saturday night and
return on Sunday morning at
8:45 a.m. For reservations,

BBYO will co-sponsor the
Robert Kornwise Judaica
Weekend Feb. 21-23 at the
Butzel Conference Center in
Ortonville. The theme of the
weekend will be "You, Me,
and the World," and will
feature Stan Beiner, author of
Sedra Scenes, as speaker. Ap-
plications should be returned
to the Agency For Jewish
Education in Southfield.
Departure will be from the
AJE building 2:30 p.m. Feb.
21 with return the following
Sunday at 3:30 p.m. For infor-

Program Set
On Anti-Semitism

The second annual
community-wide program for
7th graders on the theme of
"Anti-Semitism in the World
Today" will be held 10-11:30
a.m. March 1 at Adat Shalom
Synagogue. The morning will
be sponsored by the Agency
for Jewish Education and the
Jewish Educators Council in
cooperation with the Anti-
Defamation League of B'nai
B'rith.
Linda Soberman will speak.
Ms. Soberman is past presi-
dent of the Anti-Defamation
League Regional Board, Na-
tional Commissioner of the
