will present Rabbi Avraham
Jacobovitz, director, Jewish
Learning Network of
Michigan, Feb. 10. Rabbi
Jacobovitz will lead discus-
sions on issues concerning
Jewish students on college
campuses. "Jewish Life After
the Death of Communism" is
a personal account of a visit
to the Jewish community in
the Soviet Union. Slides will
be shown.
The Reform Havurah will
sponsor a Come Out of the
Cold Party 9:30 p.m. Feb. 12
in Greene Lounge at East

Soldiers Hurt
In Explosion

Tel Aviv (JTA) — Two
Israeli soldiers were slightly
injured when their jeep hit
an Israel Defense Force anti-
personnel mine in the Arava
region of the Negev.
One soldier was sent home
after treatment of a minor
head wound. The other was
hospitalized and then
released.
The soldiers were driving
along a dirt track near Ein
Yah ay.
It is believed to have been
loosened by recent flood
waters from where it was
originally planted near the
Jordanian border.
