Announces Activities
BBYO summer leadership
programs for 1992 include the
following:
The International Leader-
ship Kallah is a comprehen-
sive four-week Judaic educa-
tion program held at the
B'nai B'rith Perlman Camp
in Starlight, Pa. The program
helps BBYO members
strengthen Jewish identities
through Hebrew studies, lec-
tures and seminars, Israeli
song and dance, and creative
and dramatic arts. This year's
program runs from June
28-July 26.
The International Leader-
ship Training Conference is a
three-week program aimed at
developing and enhancing
leadership skills in BBYO
members. The curriculum in-
cludes leadership workshops,
Judaic studies, group
dynamics and initiative train-
ing, lectures and seminars,
Israeli song and dance, and
creative arts. ILTC follows the
Kallah program at the
Perlman Camp and runs from
July 26-Aug. 16. Participants
may elect to attend both pro-
grams for a full seven-week
experience.
The Chapter Leadership
Training Conference is a two-
week chapter leadership
training program held at the
B'nai B'rith Berber Camp in
Mukwonago, Wis. This pro-
gram offers three different
sessions: June 29-July 12; Ju-
ly 14-July 27; July 29-Aug. 11.
CLTC is to prepare the BBYO
member for the respon-
sibilities of chapter leader-
ship. The curriculum includes
leadership skills, informal
education in group dynamics,
communication workshops,
and Judaic and recreational
programming.
BBYO offers both local and
national scholarships for each
of its summer leadership pro-

Yachad BBG and Theodor
Herzl AZA of Windsor will
host the Beauheart Dance
7:30-11:30 p.m. Feb. 1 at the
Windsor Jewish Community
Centre. Dress is semi-formal;
come dated or stag. A shuttle
bus will be provided at an ad-
ditional charge. The bus will
leave from the Maple-Drake
Jewish Community Center
6:30 p.m. and stop at the
Agency For Jewish Education
Building in Southfield, leav-
ing there at 7 p.m. The return
trip will arrive at the AJE
Building at 12:30 a.m. and

AZA basketball league will
begin Feb. 2 and will be
played on consecutive Sun-
days through April at
Oakland Community College,
Orchard Ridge Campus, 8
a.m.-2 p.m.
BBG Council will initiate a
wallyball league 2-5 p.m. Feb.
9. The league will play Sun-
day afternoons at the Jewish
Community Center for six
weeks.
BBYO/JCC Teen Connec-
tion will host a "Sleepover
Bash" 8 p.m. Feb. 8 to 8:15
a.m. Feb. 9 at the Maple-
Drake JCC. The program will
feature volleyball, basketball,
floor hockey, movies and crea:
tive arts. A light snack will
be provided as well as cereal
for breakfast. Participants are
asked to bring a sleeping bag,
toiletries and a towel. A shut-
tle bus from the JPM Branch
in Oak Park will be available
at a charge with pick up at
7:30 p.m. Saturday night and
will return Sunday morning
at 8:45 a.m. For reservations
