And Centennial won again in a hard-fought, five game mat- ch. Centennial came back against Keidan on Jan. 19 to win the league champion- ship with a 20-18 game. On Jan. 26, in the B'nai B'rith Cup match, Centennial took a 2-0 lead in games, Keidan won the next two, and Centennial took the deciding game, 15-13. Centennial defeated Brotherhood 2 in the semi- finals, three games to none. Morgenthau took a 2-1 lead in games against Keidan in the other semi-final bracket, but Keidan came back to win the next two games. In Division B, Detroit 2 defeated Brotherhood 1, 3-0, while Brotherhood 4 upset Detroit 1, 3-1. Detroit 2 won the division playoff, 3-2. Next year, Detroit 2 will move up to Division A, and the fifth place Divison A team, Brotherhood 3, will move to Division B. League director Marty Melton said the playoffs marked the 19th year of local B'nai B'rith volleyball.
