Michigan, in conjunction
with the Student Center of
Michigan State University
will sponsor an Ice Cream
Social 7:30 pm. Jan. 27 at
Wells Hall C113.
The program will include a
discussion led by Rabbi
Jacobovitz, director of
Machon Mbrah, on "Whose
Orders Did Schwartzkopf
Follow?" There is no charge.
Rabbi Jacobovitz, Learning
Network of Michigan, will be
the guest speaker at a deli
brunch cosponsored by
Machon L'Torah and the
Hillel Student Organization
of Western Michigan Univer-
sity 12:30 p.m. Jan. 26 at Lee
Honors College. Rabbi
Jacobovitz will discuss beliefs,
myths and realities in
Judaism. There is no charge.

Plans Activities

The Hillel Foundation at
the University of Michigan,
Ann Arbor, will host the
following events.
The Conservative Minyan
Shabbaton: Whose Law Is It
Anyway? will be held 5:20
p.m. Jan. 24 at Hillel. Ser-
vices will also be held at 9:30
a.m. Jan. 25 at Hillel. Rabbi
Alan Kensky, formerly of the
Ann Arbor community and
currently assistant dean of
the Jewish Theological
Seminary, will speak during
services as well as after Fri-
day night dinner and after a
special Shabbat lunch. Reser-
vations for dinner and lunch
must be made in advance

The Reform Havurah will
hold a Havdalah service 7:30
p.m. on Jan. 25 at Hillel.
These services will be follow-
