46th District Court. Judge
Cooper is this year's recipient
of the Distinguished Service
Award of the Oakland Coun-
ty Bar Association for his ef-
forts in educating the public
about legal rights and respon-
sibilities. He was also selected
for this year's Martin Luther
King, Jr. Award which is
given to a local citizen whose
life exemplifies the ideals of
community service and
brotherhood.
