Age: 16-18; Length: 5 weeks; Date: July 20, 1992-Aug. 20, 1992. Tzabar Tzabar (Sabra) is the leader- ship program of the Israeli Scouts youth movement in North America. As a con- tinuation of the programming during the year in North America, the American Scouts can spend three weeks in Israel touring the country, having educational seminars and participating with Israeli Scouts in Israel in a special summer camp. The program also includes an optional week on a kibbutz. Age: 13-18; Length: 2 weeks plus 1 optional week; Date: Mid- July-Early August. MASADA PROGRAM Leadership Training Course Develop leadership skills through creative seminars and touring. Search the land, discover what is hidden within your homeland and within you. Masada Institute for Water Sports Ten days of scuba diving and instruction in the Red Sea, Eilat at one of the world's most spectacular cor- al reefs. NESIYA SEMINAR PROGRAMS Nesiya Nesiya is a creative journey exploring Israel through arts and culture workshops, Jewish texts, outdoor adven- ture and service projects. "Nesiya,” in Hebrew means "a journey." Now in its eighth Year, Nesiya develops an in- timate group with young peo- ple and staff from diverse backgrounds. The program provides an opportunity to question and experience the relevance of Jewish culture to self-expression and personal arOwth. The Nesiya Seminar features: Extended residen- cies in three regions of Israel — the Negev, the Galilee, and Jerusalem; encounters and workshops with Israeli artists in theater, visual arts, creative writing, music, dance and photography; full par- ticipation of a group of Israeli teen-agers; and a service pro- ject in a development town, kibbutz or other community. The Seminar does not have a particular agenda or point of view regarding Judaism and Israel. The program
