Weisblat-Friedman

Jodi Weisblat and Avi
Friedman were married
recently at Park Synagogue
East in Beachwood, Ohio.
Rabbi Joshua Skoff of Park
Synagogue and Rabbi Martin
Berman of Beth Achim Con-
gregation of Southfield
officiated.
The bride is the daughter of
Mr. and Mrs. Sidney Zilber
and Mr. and Mrs. Howard
Weisblat, both of Beachwood.
A graduate of the University
of Michigan, she teaches
biology at Pasadena High
School.
Mr. Friedman is the son of
Judge and Mrs. Benjamin
Friedman of Huntington
Woods. A graduate of the
University of Michigan, he is
a rabbinical student at the

University of Judaism in Los
Angeles.
Heidi Weisblat was maid of
honor and Michelle Appel,
Susan Lichterman, Gina
Weisblat and Gail Friedman
were bridesmaids. Jerry
Friedman was best man.
Groomsmen were Jeffrey Ap-
pel, Mark Lichterman, Jamie
Block and Joel Weisblat.
The flower girl was Tammy
Portnoy and the ring bearer
was Andrew Appel. Also par-
ticipating in the ceremony
were the bride's grandmother,
Mrs. Lillian Weisblat, and the
groom's grandmother, Mrs.
Edith Guyer.
The couple are residing in
Los Angeles after a honey-
moon in Mexico.
