JHA Orients
New Residents
A new resident tea program
will begin Jan. 13 at the
Fleischman Residence/Blum-
berg Plaza, Jewish Home for
Aged to help new residents
adjust.
Residents will receive per-
sonal invitations and will
become more acquainted with
department heads and staff in
an informal setting, con-
ducive to conversation and
concerns. Tea and cookies will
be served.
Other programs in place for
resident orientation are: mon-
thly resident council
meetings, a presentation of
new residents who receive
welcoming gifts supported by
the JHA Women's Auxiliary;
family orientation meetings
held with department heads
on a quarterly basis, and
family support group
meetings held monthly.
