Library Programs
For Children

The West Bloomfield Town-
ship libraries will hold a
variety of children's
programs:
Family Storytime has
stories, songs and activities
for children accompanied by
an adult.
Main's program will be
10:30-11 a.m. Jan. 9. Register
beginning Jan. 2 by calling
682-2120.
Westacres' program will be
10:30-11 a.m. Jan. 16.
Registration begins Jan. 9 by
calling 363-4022.
In "This Little Piggie,"
Margaret Schmidt will bring
Spiker the Vietnamese pot-
bellied pig to visit grades K-4.
Register Jan. 14 by calling
Main, 682-2120; or Westacres,
363-4022. The program will
be at Westacres 4:15-5 p.m.
Jan. 21; at Main 4:15-5 p.m.
Jan. 22.
Tot Plus One is a storytime
for children 2-3 years old,
with an adult.
Main's program will be
10:30-11 a.m. Jan. 23;
registration begins Jan. 16 by
calling 682-2120.
Westacres' program will be
10:30-11 a.m. Jan. 30;
registration begins Jan. 23 by
calling 363-4022.
Preschool Storytime with
stories, fingerplays and ac-
tivities is for the independent
child ages 3 to 5 (30 to 40
minutes). Children must be 3
years old when the session
begins.

a.m. or 2 p.m.; Wednesdays,
10:30 a.m. or 2 p.m. At
Westacres — Tuesdays, 10:30
a.m.; Wednesdays, 10:30 a.m.

Marriage Is Topic
Of Workshop

Jewish Family Service will
offer a new session of the
workshop "Kiddushin Is For
Keeps: Making Marriage
Work," Jan. 28 for couples
who are engaged and/or
recently married. The seven-
week workshop will focus on
communication, conflict
negotiation and family
relationships.
The first six sessions will be
conducted by a marriage
counselor. The seventh ses-
sion will be conducted by a
rabbi who will focus on the
Jewish aspects of married life.
The workshop is endorsed by
the Michigan Board of
Rabbis.
