on "Reflections of the
Lubavitcher Rebbe On Con-

For Soviet Jews
Machon L'Torah, the Jewish
Learning Network of
Michigan, will sponsor an
educational evening for new-
ly arrived Soviet Jewish im-
migrants. The program is
directed towards young pro-
fessional couples, and will
focus on "Jewish Family
Values in the Nineties."
Rabbi Avraham Jacobovitz
will speak, followed by a
question-and-answer session.
The program will be 7:30 p.m.

JPI Holds
Jewish Law Class
The Jewish Parents In-
stitute will hold a class for
adults, "The Development of
Jewish Law," touching on the
Torah, Mishnah, Gemarah,
Mishnah Torah, Schulchan
Aruch, and Mishnah Breura.
Issues such as the legal
relationship of men and
women, Jewish law and
modern technology, and
medicine and abortion will be
discussed. The instructor will
be Rabbi Alan Blustein.
The eight-week series will
begin 11:15 a.m.-12:15 p.m.
