Tamarack Offers
Camping Mips

Tamarack Camps will offer
a 32-day Advanced Western
Trip to teens entering 11th
and 12th grade. Departing on
July 28, the group will go
back country hiking in Wild
River Range, the Big Horns,
Sawtooth Ranges, and the
Bridger-Teton National
Forest, mountain ranges
located in Wyoming and
Idaho.
Two 32-day Western Teen
Trips will take teens entering
10-12th grades backpacking
in the Rocky Mountain Na-
tional Park, white water raf-
ting in Utah, cave exploring
in North Dakota, exploring
Zion National Park, and view-
ing the geysers in Yellowstone
National Park. The trips will
leave June 21 and June 28.
The 46-day Alaskan Adven-
ture Trip will take par-
ticipants entering 11th and
12th grades hiking in the
Canadian Rocky Mountains,
backpacking along the
Chilkoot Trail, panning for
gold in the Yukon Territory,
sea kayaking near Juneau
and exploring Denali and
Jasper national parks.
The Canadian Wilderness
Trip, Resident Agree, and
Ultimate Agree, with home
base at the Charles N. Agree
Base Camp in northern On-
tario, include rappeling, rock
climbing, swimming, back
packing, and canoe camping
in the North Woods of
Canada. These 28-day pro-
grams are offered to teens
entering ninth-12th grades.
Camp Kennedy will offer
28-day programs at its site in
the Upper Peninsula to teens
entering 10th and 11th
grades. Canoeing trips and
camping trips in the Pictured
Rocks National Lakeshore
and the Boundary Waters of
Minnesota, as well as water-
skiing, windsurfing and rock
climbing are highlights of the
program.
The 26-day Pioneer Adven-
ture Program, for teens enter-
ing 8th and 9th grades, is bas-
ed at Camp Maas and takes
participants on a white water
rafting trip in Pennsylvania
and a six day camping trip in
the North Woods of Canada.
