Not only are the pins fashionable and the cause timely, but the price is right. For $10, each pin features a home or a cluster of homes in all colors and geometric shapes. Sometimes there is a tree, a moon or a heart alongside the house. Lucinda Yates, a Maine artist, makes the pins by the hundreds and sells them for $6 across the country to non- profit organizations who promise to sell them for $10. She began designing the pins to raise money for her community's homeless. NCJW has nearly 2,000 pins. "We are giving the money to Yad Ezra, Baldwin Shelter and Oakland County Food Bank," said Ann Zousmer, NCJW vice presi- dent of public relations. For more information, call the NCJW office at 258- 6000.
