Joseph Korman,
Oil Executive

Joseph M. Korman, of
Bloomfield Hills and Denver,
Colo., died Dec. 7. He was 56.
Mr. Korman was general
manager of operations and
purchasing for Total
Petroleum, based in Denver.
A 1953 graduate of Central
High School, he was a
member of the Michigan
Oilmen's Club. He was an
usher at Temple Israel, past
president of the Hebrew
Benevolent Society, a member
of Craftsman Lodge 521 and
of the Probus Club.
He leaves his father, Morris
of Detroit; sister, Annette
Silverman of Bloomfield
Hills. Interment Detroit.

Correction

George Karden (obituaries,
Dec. 6), also is survived by
his sister and brother-in-law,
Vivian and Bernard Wenst of
West Bloomfield.
