Hold Workshop

The Professional Staff Con-
ference will bring together
Hillel directors and Jewish
campus workers from around
the United States and over-
seas for a five-day workshop
under the auspices of the
B'nai B'rith Hillel Founda-
tions International-Dec. 15-19
in Ossinning, N.Y.
The campus professionals
will develop skills in working
with students or faculty, in
fund raising and institutional
management and in Torah
study. Rabbi Louis Finkel-
man, director of the B'nai
B'rith Hillel Foundations of
Metropolitan Detroit, will
teach one of the Torah ses-
sions on "The Hostage Crisis
Evaluated in the Light of An-
cient Jewish Sources."
Also attending the con-
ference will be members of
the professional staff of the
B'nai B'rith Hillel Founda-
tions of Metropolitan Detroit:
Sandy Loeffler, who directs
Hillel operations at Oakland
University; and Lisa Sandler,
who directs Hillel operations
at Oakland Community Col-
lege and Lawrence Techno-
logical University.

New Year's Eve

Year's Eve Ball at the
synagogue.
