WHAT IS A CHINESE AUCTION?

AKIVA HEBR

A CHINESE AUCTION is an inexpensive way to
have a fun-filled evening where you have the
chance to take home valuable prizes for a
minimal cash outlay.

HOW DOES A CHINESE AUCTION WORK?

At a CHINESE AUCTION you purchase coupons in
denominations of $5, $10, $20, $35, $50, $75 or $100.
You then place these coupons, with your name on
them, in the box corresponding to your desired gift.
For example, if you would like the chance to go to
Disney World, you purchase a $35 coupon, write
your name on it and place it in box number 12 at
the Florida table.

HOW MANY COUPONS CAN I PUT IN A
PARTICULAR BOX?

There is no limit to the number of coupons one
may place in any one box. Therefore, if you want to
increase your chances of winning a prize, you may
place more than one coupon in that box.

HOW MANY COUPONS MUST BE SOLD
FOR ANY PRIZE. TO BE WON?

With the exception of the car, as long as ONE
coupon is sold for a particular item, that
merchandise will be taken home by a lucky winner
at the end of the evening.
