speak at Temple Emanu-El
10:30-11:30 a.m. Dec. 8.
Dr. Susser will speak on
"The Middle East Peace Pro-
cess in the Wake of the Gulf
War." Dr. Susser, author of

Between Jordan and Palestine
and The PLO After the War in
Lebanon is a student of the
modern history of the Middle
East, specializing in the
political history of Jordan and
the Palestinians.
Dr. Susser has been a
visiting professor at Cornell
University and a visiting
fellow at the Washington In-
stitute for Near East Policy.
This event is sponsored by
the Cohn-Haddow Center for
Judaic Studies at Wayne
State University and the
United Jewish Charities in
cooperation with the Jewish
Federation of Metropolitan
Detroit. There is no charge.
