Chanukah Events

Michigan has planned several
events for Chanukah.
A parade will leave 7 p.m.
Dec. 2 from Mishkan Israel
Synagogue in Oak Park. The
"car caravan" will proceed to
the Lubavitch Foundation —
Michigan Headquarters,
28555 Middlebelt Road, Far-
mington Hills, where an out-
door public menorah lighting
will take place.
Another menorah lighting
and Chanukah party have
been scheduled for 7 p.m. Dec.
4 at Mishkan Israel
Synagogue, Oak Park. Latkes
will be served and there will
be a Chanukah raffle for the
children.
A two-hour television
special will be broadcast
across the United States and
around the world. "Chanu-
kah Live: The World Cele-
brates Chanukah Together
Via Satellite" will air on
WTVS Channel 56 in Detroit,
Flint, Ann Arbor and Toledo
4-6 p.m. Dec. 2..
