Feted at Gala

"An Evening in Tribute to
Maestro Enrico • Cecchetti —
Continuing the Ballet Tradi-
tion" will be held 6:30 p.m.
Feb. 1 at Meadowbrook Hall,
Rochester. This event will
feature a silent and live auc-
tion, along with food, drinks
and music. All proceeds rais-
ed during the evening will be
used to complete production
of a documentary about
maestro Enrico Cecchetti.
The Cecchetti documentary
is being produced under the
direction of Rose Marie Floyd,
director of the Contemporary
Civic Ballet Company, Royal
Oak, and Eva Powers, associ-
ate professor, Wayne State
University Department of
Dance. The Cecchetti
documentary will discuss the
effects of Cecchetti's
teachings on classical ballet
and the dance world.

(individual), $100 (patron) or
$125 (benefactor). A preview
party will be held Jan. 29 for
patrons and benefactors, at
