This Marriage Proposal
Gets A Loud Response

Moss say? Are they or
aren't they?
What would you do if you
read your marriage proposal
in the Nov. 8 engagement
section of The Jewish News?
Ms. Moss screamed, jumped
up and down, grabbed the
ring and ran downstairs to
show her parents. Mr.
Rosenthal was left kneeling
on the floor, waiting for her
answer.
"I ran back upstairs when
I realized I hadn't said yes,"
said Ms. Moss, 24. "When I
got back to my room, Neal
was still kneeling next to my
bed and then he asked me to
marry him."
Mr. Rosenthal, 29, of
Southfield, proposed to Ms.
Moss in an advertisement in
the Nov. 8 issue of The Jew-
ish News. The couple has not
yet set a wedding date. "I've
done lots of things on the
way-out side," he said.
But this time, he took Ms.
Moss and his entire family
by surprise. No one expected

to get it in as an announce-
ment," Ms. Zorlen said. "But
it had to be an ad. So, in the
end, we did a lot of moving
around to fit it in."
Ms. Moss knew Mr. Rosen-
thal was coming over. He
had her car pin-striped and
was bringing it back. He also
had her engagement ring
painted on the trunk of her
new car.
"I just went over the edge
when I saw what he did."
Ms. Moss said. "Neil even
changed my license plates to
put my new initials on the
car. That was the most spe-

cial. Seeing my new initials
for the first time."
"I wouldn't have done this
if I didn't know what she'd
say," Mr. Rosenthal said.
"You don't go out seriously
with someone for more than
a year and not know
them." 111
