pressed by the psychic's
comments when she was
speaking as Harry Price.

his lifetime numerous so-
called mediums who claimed
to speak with the dead. He

ample of the "supernatural"
he himself could not per-
form.
Though the old Grace
Hospital where Houdini died
has since been torn down —
and, as everyone knows,
spirits usually prefer to
haunt the spot where they
died — attempts to reach the
late magician continue. Mr.
McPherson recalled one
Michigan resident who tried
to communicate with
Houdini, asking him to pro-
ve his presence by moving a
milk can filled with bagels.
