Local Elderhostels Set For Butzel The Fresh Air Society and the Midrasha College of Jewish Studies will offer seven six-day Elderhostels at the Butzel Conference Center March 29, May 17, June 28, July 12, July 26, Aug. 9 and Aug. 23. The Fresh Air Socie- ty will direct the facilities, programming and on-site coordination; the Midrasha will provide faculty and cur- riculum development. Academic programs for March, May and June include "Philosophers Who Made a Difference," "Stories: The Soul of the Jewish Ex- perience," "Intergroup Rela- tions and Conflicts," "Great Trials in Jewish History," "1492: Five Hundred Years Later," "Post Gulf War-Pre- Arab/Israel Peace" and the "Image of Jews in American and Israeli Film."
