tion In Michigan, will host an
evening of Israeli food, music,
and folkdancing 7:30 p.m.
Oct. 26 at the Maple-Drake
Jewish Community Center.
Felafel, Hummus,
Tabouleh, desserts and coffee
will be served. Israeli
folkdance instructor Shelly
Jackier will teach
folkdancing.

Tamarack Camps will spon-
sor three resident winter
camps for girls and boys
beginning' with a three-day
program for 2nd and 3rd
graders Dec. 22-24. Activities
include tobogganing, ice
skating, indoor crafts, and
outdoor sports, plus games
night and movie night.
A four-day winter camp will
follow Dec. 26-29 for 4th and
5th graders.
A three-day winter camp for
6th-8th graders will be held
Feb. 14-16. In addition to
camp activities, there will be
cross country skiing on camp
property and down-hill skiing
at nearby Mount Holly.
The annual New Year's
Family Camp is scheduled for
Dec. 29-Jan. 1. Cross-country
skiing, skating, crafts, winter
sports, talent shows, and New
Year's Eve programs are
planned.
All programs will take
place at Butzel Conference
Center, located across the
lake from Camp Maas in nor-
thern Oakland County. The
food service is under the
supervision of the Council of
Orthodox Rabbis.
