Detroit will host the Boaz
Siegel Culture Fund Family
Concert Series presented
Sundays monthly at the Jim-
my Prentis Morris Building.
Boaz Siegel's combined
careers in education and law
have involved him in shaping
Michigan's labor legislation.
He has endowed and estab-
lished the Boaz Siegel
Culture Fund at the Jewish
Community Center to pro-
mote cultural experiences.
The first concert will take
place 2 p.m. Oct. 27 in Jaffe
Hall. It will feature the
Bolkosky Duo in an unaccom-
panied recital. The program
will include works by Handel,
Bach and Kodaly.
Future concerts will include
Marina Zachin, concert
pianist; Irene Tikhonor,
cellist; and flutist Margaret
Yelykoev, both accompanied
by pianist Ludmila Lemberg.
Elizabeth Rowen will present
a violin recital.

Art Show, Sale
Set For Nov.
Birmingham Temple's 19th
Annual Invitational Fine
Arts Show and Sale will take
place 8 p.m. Nov. 1 at the tem-
ple. The show runs through
Nov. 3.
There will be ceramics,
sculptures, jewelry, glass,
weaving, photography, pain-
tings and metal art, created
by the 125 invited artists. In-
cluded will be the artworks of
several Russian artists
recently settled in our
community.
Door prizes of works of art
from the show will be given
away.
