won the Ben Bider B'nai
B'rith Tournament of Cham-
pions. Team members were:
Dave Zatkin, Mitch Dictor,
Steve Fellows and Mary Dic-
tor. High games were rolled
by Gary Siegel, 230, and
Mary Dictor, 227. High series
by Lyle Schaefer, 604, and
Dave Koloff, 585.
The tournament was held
Sunday, Oct. 20, at the Coun-

Plans Meeting

Jewish Appeal speaker and
trainer will present the key-
note address at the JCA/UJA
Washtenaw County Cam-
paign '92 Pacesetters' Dinner
5:30 p.m. Dec. 8 at the Ann
Arbor Radisson Hotel.
The Pacesetters' Dinner
will honor those who have
made pledges of $2,000 and
above to Campaign '92.
Yona Goldberg was born
and educated in South Africa
and spent a number of years
in Israel before settling in
Washington D.C. in 1970.
Ms. Goldberg is the na-
tional chair of the Women's
Division of the United Jewish
Appeal. She began her
UJA/Federation service. in
1984 when she became the
local Women's Division cam-
paign chair and then presi-
dent in 1986. She led the
Washington delegation of the
Women's Division to Prague
and Israel in 1983 and
Hungary and Israel in 1984.
"The Many Faces and Col-
ors of Israel" will be the title
of a photographic exhibit at
the event.
The walls of the hotel ball-
room will display the varied
"experiences of Ann Arborites
in Israel, including
photographs, slides projected
onto the wall and ongoing
showings of videotapes.

The Maimonides Society of
the Jewish Community
Association/United Jewish
Appeal of Washtenaw County
will hold its first meeting for
Campaign '92 Oct. 24 at the
home of Dr. William and
Rhoda Martel.
Joseph Kohane, director of
the University of Michigan
Hillel Foundation, will speak
on "Maimonides — Jewish
Philosopher, Jewish Thinker,
Social Critic."
The Maimonides Society is
an organization of local
Jewish doctors and dentists
who work to strengthen the
bonds between themselves,
the Jewish community and
Israel. -
The Maimonides Society
will meet Nov. 21 at the home
of Paul and Carolyn Lichter
to hear a panel on "Ethics
and the Jewish Perspective."
