Machon Plans
Three Programs

Machon DrIbrah, the Jewish
Learning Network of Michi-
gan, will hold a special lear-
ning program for new Ameri-
can students and young pro-
fessionals who have arrived
from the U.S.S.R. 6:30 p.m.
Oct. 27 at Machon. A deli din-
ner will be served, followed by
a discussion led by Rabbi
Avraham Jacobovitz, director

sponsor an educational even-
ing 8 p.m. Nov. 6 at the Con-

and Ethics in Contemporary

Stroll program bonding with
residents.
Every Sunday 10 a.m.-1:30
p.m., 10 students arrive from
a class of 50 to share friend-
ship. Residents request these
youngsters to walk with them
outdoors and play table
games in the lobby. Other
tasks done for the residents
are letter writing, shoe shin-
ing, personal grooming and
the celebration of special
holidays.
The 1991-92 12th grade
coordinators will be Zhanna
Diskoverov and Yehudis
Nachlas of Oak Park.
