JPM Hosts
Concert Series

The Jewish Community
Center of Metropolitan
Detroit will host the Boaz
Siegel Culture Fund Family
Concert Series Sundays at the
Jimmy Prentis Morris
building.
The first concert will take
place 2 p.m. Oct. 27 in Jaffe
Hall. It will feature the
Bolkosky Duo in an unaccom-
panied recital. The program
will include works by Handel,
Bach and Kodaly.
These concerts are meant to
be enjoyed by those 6 years of
age and older. Instruments
and composers will be
described by the performers.
Future concerts in this
series will include Marina
Zarchin, concert pianist;
Irene Tikhonor, cellist, and
flutist Margaret Yelykoev,
both to be accompanied by
pianist Ludmila Lemberg,
and Elizabeth Rowen will pre-
sent a violin recital.
Tickets will be available at
the JPM Box Office. For ticket

Music Study Club
Hosts Concert

The Music Study Club of
Metropolitan Detroit will
hold its annual artist concert
3 p.m. Oct. 20 in the Berkley
High School Auditorium.
Scott Yoo, a young Japanese
born violinist, will be
featured. Accompanying Mr.
Yoo will be pianist Max
Levinson, a soloist, recitalist
and chamber musician, also a
student at Harvard.
The annual concert raises
funds to provide scholarships
to young Michigan musicians
of unusual talent. For ticket
